| Lineage | dc.description | This dataset was derived by working out which districts made up a Local Enterprise Partnership and merging them together to define the LEP's. This was done using BoundaryLine data from OS OpenData. This data will therefore will have to aknowledge that it is based on OS OpenData, hence the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license. |
| Abstract | dc.description.abstract | This dataset depicts the Local Enterprise Partnerships from November 2010. Local enterprise partnerships are locally-owned partnerships between local authorities and businesses. On 28 October 2010, Government announced 24 partnerships that were ready to move forward and establish their local enterprise partnership boards. A further 6 partnerships have been announced since October. More information about LEP's can be found here: http://www.communities.gov.uk/localgovernment/local/localenterprisepartnerships/ A small example map is included in the zip file as a jpg. |
