Title:	World Gross Domestic Produce

Abstract:	Gross Domestic Produce data released by the International MOnetary Fund in October 2010. The data represents, on the whole, 2009 GDP and some countries do not have data available. GDP is expressed in Billions of dollars unless stated otherwise.
Lineage:	Data was sourced from the International Monetary Fund website (http://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/weo/2010/02/weodata/index.aspx) and was edited in ArcGIS. Data from the IMF website was combined with World Boundary data held in sharegeo (http://hdl.handle.net/10672/124) to allow maps to be made. A couple of countries do not map such as Montenegro, Sao Tone and Kosovo. These are expressed in the data but will not be visible in on the map.
